On May 22, the "Unlimited Possibilities 2021 YingNuo Innovators Conference" was held in Qingdao New Financial Industrial Park, which is one of the most grand gatherings in the investment and entrepreneurship circles every year. Wang Fan, founder and chairman of Zhongke Zhiying, delivered a keynote speech on 《New MEG and Brain Computer Interface》, which popularized the current situation, development, diagnostic needs and applications of brain computer interfaces for everyone.

The concept of brain computer interface has been widely heard in recent years. It is a research field with a long history and has been facing a series of opportunities and challenges. Narrowly defined as a communication system that directly communicates with the outside world through "brain signals" without relying on the normal output channels of the brain (peripheral nerve nuclei and muscle tissues). Broad definition: Online brain signal processing used to enhance human computer interaction. Equivalent to a category that leans more towards brain computer fusion. Brain computer interfaces have broad application prospects in fields such as healthcare, education, and commercial marketing.

The development of brain computer interface technology is limited by the hardware itself. The traditional brain computer interface scheme is extracranial EEG, which has the disadvantages of low sensitivity and high error rate, often requiring multiple repetitions. Musk's intracranial electroencephalogram (EEG) scheme is highly sensitive, but its disadvantage is that it is traumatic and often applied to patients who have already suffered from severe neurological disability. Moreover, it cannot monitor the entire brain and can only monitor a certain brain area to obtain relevant information. Functional magnetic resonance imaging requires a large and expensive device that requires people to lie inside. The spatial resolution is very good, while the temporal resolution is low, which is expensive and not practical. Traditional MEG scheme: It has both high spatial and temporal resolution, but the head needs to be fixed, which is expensive and limited in practicality.

What we are doing is a new type of MEG based on atomic magnetometers. OPM MEG combines high spatiotemporal resolution and good spatial resolution, making it a completely non-invasive imaging technology with the maximum theoretical transmission bandwidth. It is clinically applied in fields such as epilepsy/functional area localization, Parkinson's disease, and psychiatric diagnosis. It is an important tool in cognitive science research and can reflect the study of rapid spatiotemporal processes in the brain. The diagnosis of neuroelectrophysiological functions based on MEG/EEGcan be widely used in epilepsy, diagnosis of visual and auditory language developmental abnormalities in children, diagnosis of AD/ADHD, rehabilitation training, diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, elderly dementia, and other fields, with urgent practical needs and huge potential markets.

Our company was established in 2019, contacted Inno at the end of 2020, and completed angel round investment in early 2021. Thank you to YingNuo for your care. I hope YingNuo will continue to develop better and better, and I also hope that we can develop together with YingNuo in the future.
